vectorchange: (your d*ck is thiiiiis big)

I know this is written as though I plan on physically fighting a lot with this character, but I honestly don't at all, unless the OTHER player wants to give it a try. This is the best way I can explain his powers properly, however.

Accelerator's ability is vector control. This means that any vector his skin comes in contact with, he can control. Heat, momentum, electric charge, the wind, your bloodflow/bio-electricity. He can manipulate anything with a vector, no matter how intricate or large it is. Basically he can kill you with a single touch, or stomp on the ground and cause an earthquake, and you won't see it coming.

As mentioned in the introductory post, this Accelerator is post brain damage. This means that in order to move, speak, and use his powers, he relies on an electrode collar that connects him to the Misaka network.

I’m aware that Accelerator’s powers may seem godmoddy; however I promise that I play by the canon rules. I did mention in my introduction that there were some very specific ways around his powers. To anyone that might want to fight my character, I’d like to give a detailed explanation of his powers and how they could be gotten around.

-Accelerator automatically deflects things like bullets, explosions, punches, baseball bat swings, objects being thrown at him, and things like that. However, he could not immediately deflect an “unknown substance”, like dark matter, magic, or anything else that does not exist until it’s created by the one using it. However, after getting a “taste” of the attack, he could quickly reverse engineer it and add it to the list of things he can reflect.

-If your character has an ability/object that can cancel out ANY ability, Accelerator would not be able to use his powers. However, this ability/object would have to be pretty powerful for it to work on Accelerator, and you'd have to use it before he makes an attack, or else your character would still be crushed.

-If your character can jam electronic signals, they could jam his electrode choker and pray that he does not Awaken. You'd have to jam his collar before he made a move, otherwise, his move would still probably kill your character.

-In speaking of his collar, there are situations in which it would not work. For example, if he's in a room/buliding that would interfere with electronic signals (cell phones, wifi, ect) the collar would not work and he could not use his ability. Also, the ESPer mode on his collar only lasts 30 minutes, considering this Accelerator is post 9/30. We can work out a scenario where his battery is drained a bit, but a reason why his battery is drained must be explained

-I mentioned "Awakening" earlier. This means his ability gets even stronger. In this state, he does not need his collar, and he doesn't even require a real vector. Awakening allows him to not only temporarily overcome any limitations in his powers due to his brain damage, it also strengthens them. He grows large black wings and speaks in an Angelic language. It's not something he can easily pull out of his ass, so don't think I'll use that as a "get out of getting my ass kicked" card.

- If Accelerator is already doing a complex calculation, he could not do another one without stopping the first. This ordinarily would not be a way to get around being pulverized by his powers, but if you can catch him doing an important calculation with his powers that he’d be unwilling to stop, you could hurt him that way.

-There are a few psychological ways to not have him use his powers on you: appealing to his better nature, develop a close relationship with him (very hard to do) and calling him out on his sadistic little act. Cause after all, 90% of his cruelty and sadism is nothing more than an act.

-Also, if you know the mechanics of how his powers work, you would know that it’s possible to exploit the holes in it; but since only one person knows how his powers work, you’d pretty much have to be that one person- Kihara Amata.

-There are indeed a number of ways to break through his vector barrier and hurt him; the main issue would be your character stopping/surviving his responding move. Even if you hurt him and even though he's technically physically weak, he's not the type to quit just because he got injured. Don't count on him running just because your character banged him up real good.

Considering he can control any force- momentum, electricity, heat, wind, even your circulatory system- that he can understand immediately, and even has the ability to figure out how to control a vector he can't understand, if your character ends up in a situation where they have to fight him, they're pretty much fucked unless they can state they know he doesn't really want to hurt/kill and that he shouldn't, or they can make it to where he is unable to use his powers.
